    Choi Yi-jae, burdened by seven years of futile job hunting, reaches his breaking point upon learning he's been defrauded of all his savings. Confronted with eviction and overwhelmed by despair, Yi-jae sees death as the only escape from his agony, declaring it a mere tool to end the pain. However, in a twist of fate, he encounters "Death" itself, which sentences him to endure life and death 12 times as a consequence of his choice.
