Writer Noh Hee-kyung debuted in the MBC Best Theater 'Mother's Gardenia' in 1995 and worked as a drama writer for over 24 years, and has written iconic works such as ‘Worlds Within’, ‘The Winter, The Wind Blows’, ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love’, ‘Dear My Friends’, and ‘Live’.
Director Kim Gyu-tae directed 'Worlds Within', 'Iris', 'That Winter, The Wind Blows', 'It's Okay, That's Love', and 'Live', and has worked with writer Noh Hee-kyung for a long time. Director Hong Jong-chan has directed ‘Dr. Heo' and 'Dear My Friends', and recently took the megaphone for 'Her Private Life' starring Park Min-young and Kim Jae-wook.
Studio Dragon plans to produce high-quality dramas through collaboration between existing creators and GTist. Alongside the dramas written by writer Noh Hee-kyung, the company is planning dramas centered on new writers per year by partnering and mentoring new writers.
An official from Studio Dragon said, “In the fast changing media environment, where content quality is more important than quantity, securing excellent creators is the key to maximizing our competitiveness. Through this acquisition, we expect to secure the capacity of producing additional 3 to 4 dramas per year.”
